Machinedrum live @ (Le) Poisson Rouge, NYC

World is Music is visiting NYC to catch up on the new music Machinedrum has been recently producing. We are super excited to listen the new 'Human Energy' LP released last September 30th on Ninja Tune.

Machinedrum will be playing next Thursday at (Le) Poisson Rouge together with Daktyl. The uk multi-instrumentalist merges bass, hip hop and garage making us impossible to tag him on just one genre. In 2015 after a tour with Slow Magic across USA and Canada, they released 'Cyclical' LP on L.A. based label Mad Decent.

Kučka aka Laura Jane Lowther is also part of the line up for this awesome Manhattan night. She comes from her bedroom recording studio located in Perth. She featured with A$AP Rocky on his acclaimed Long. Live. A$AP album. After releasing in 2015 her 'Unconditional' LP, she was selected as one of the only two Australian artist to take part in RBMA Paris. Kučka is already on the international scene in 2016.

We will not be able to visit Chicago during our American trip but Mel G is bringing Chicago music to NYC. He is a dj and producer based in Brooklyn, part of the NYC Teklife footwork duo Tripletrain. We are so looking forward to his booty house and footwork session.
