Into the Valley Festival
From the 28th to 30th July 2016, one of the most spectacular and picturesque festivals of the Northern hemisphere will take place in an ancient volcano, now a fantastic turquoise lake in a limestone cove: The into the Valley festival in Dalhalla, 2080 km north of Stockholm.
This state of the art electronic music festival was created with the aim to provide a unique, different experience of electronic music on Swedish ground - and we must admit that the setting, as well as the line-up have not promised too little.
With Jamie Principle, Four Tet, Kerri Chandler, Roman Flügel, Prins Thomas, Omar S, Jeff Mills, Levon Vincent, Daniele Baldelli or Move D, it covers some of the giants of the history of house, disco and techno. Others like Young Marco, Joy Orbison, The Black Madonna, Dixon, Hunee, Tornado Wallace, John Talabot, Bicep, Axel Boman, Motor City Drum Ensemble or Gerd Janson are part of the most talented artists of the actual electronic scene.
You will not miss out on local artists that make the Swedish clubbing scene be in a great shape and also spread its ability internationally. To name some of them: Baba Stillz, Jenny Seth & Love Lagerberg, Rollerboys, Mr Tophat & Art Alfie or Haidl&Lindstrøm.
The incredible scenery surrounded by woods, the stage in form of an amphitheater of limestone inside a limestone quarry on top of a turkish lake - and the impressive line-up just make the dream comes true to experience music in a never-before known setting.
